I am the Light of God.
Whole and complete just as I am.

Or whatever wording that resonates with you best while also supporting the message.

Now, try to reach your True Self. That part of you that knows no fear nor could conceive of loss or suffering or death—only love, peace, and joy. “…lay all idols and self-images aside; go past the list of attributes, both good and bad, you have ascribed to yourself; and wait in silent expectancy for the truth…it will be revealed to all who ask for it.”

For a shorter practice, tell yourself frequently a version of today’s idea. You can also use it with anyone who seems to irritate you with words to yourself such as:

You are the Light of God.
Whole and complete just as you are.

* The Course defines “Him[God]” as an impersonal, formless, and infinite principle of pure Love. Substitute whatever term that resonates best and allows you to receive the message.

During today’s practice, I saw a vision of a floating lotus blossom, fully open, with a strong, vibrant flame at its center. This is how I see my True Self—the light of the world. Whole and complete just as I am.

It reminds me of the salutation namaste. The translation I relate to most is:

The light in me sees the light in you.

That brought to mind a vision of a pool of water filled with lighted lotus blossoms. This is how we are intended to be—who we are at our core. All of us in communion, being the lights we are. Created in the likeness of peace, love, and joy.
