Strong
“able to face fears, challenges, and uncertainties with bravery and conviction, even when it’s difficult or uncomfortable”
Of all the definitions I found for the word “strong”…this by far resonated with me the most. This version feels more like inner strength than physical strength…although being physically strong certainly has its merits. And even there, if you wanted to become physically strong, you’d have to face any fears or challenges regarding what it will take to become physically strong.
If we look back at our past, we most likely would find at least several times where we needed to be strong in order to make the changes in life that we’ve made. I can think of five instances right off the bat.
So today’s MotD encourages us to remember those times of strength and use that energy to help us have the strength to face whatever challenges lay before us now…regardless of the weight of them.
And with regard to any fears…most of them are based in the belief that “we can’t handle it”…but upon closer inspection you may find that your history proves that you can.
How about you? Is being strong a core value for you?
BTW…here’s what it looked like to begin with …

About the 2024 Mandalas of the Day
Each day I will create and post a mandala inspired by one of 366 “value” words chosen randomly. The objective being to discover for myself which ones would best represent my core values…and by doing so, I hope it inspires you to determine your own.
