Receive Help
Our focus this week — Sep 17-23: “Letting Someone Help”
Today’s MotD: Receive Help. We’re encouraged to receive help, to welcome offers of help. Not just from our physical, earthly realm but also from beyond: God, Goddess, Higher Power, Source, Universe, Spirit Team, Allah, Divine Presence, Guardian Angel, Guides and Angels, … whatever name resonates a higher vibrational source for us.
It’s my understanding that this helpful Source is available to all of us and They are there to help us with our expansion here on Earth. The only requirement for receiving such help is to ask for it. In my experience, They won’t interfere unless asked however They may nudge us or present us options to help us better discern our next step.
Here’s a mundane example. My business cell phone has been acting up for over a year. I’ve had to tightly wrap and clip the cord over the top of the phone in order to charge it. Apparently the connection inside is off kilter.
However over the last few weeks, it would start to charge and stop. I tried different chords and set ups. I knew I needed to buy a replacement phone and should have backed up my current phone but I kept putting it off. Finally it just would not take a charge at all and died.
I took it to a phone “fix it” place and they also confirmed that it wouldn’t take a charge. I resigned myself to the fact that I’ve lost that phone’s content and start all over again with a new phone.
Two days ago, before ordering a new phone, I wanted to give charging one more go. I put a request out to my Team of Guides and Angels…”I need a miracle. I just need the phone to charge enough so I can get on there and back it up.” I felt compelled to try a different outlet and plug-in and lo and behold it started to take a charge, a very slow charge, but a charge none-the-less. I checked it about an hour later and saw it was about 8% charged. That was enough for me to turn on the phone, get to my settings, select “backup now”, and have it do a complete backup. Yeah Team! Yeah for miracles! Yesterday I ordered my replacement phone. Whew!
Like I said, this is a rather banal example and yet when I’ve asked them for help (regardless of the degree of help I needed) I have received it, often in unexpected ways and sometimes completely opposite yet exactly what I needed—although considering that They have a broader view of our situation, it makes sense that They may tweak our ask. (cue Rolling Stones…”You Can’t Always Get What You Want”)
Also, this… (not the best delivery of the joke…sounds like AI…hopefully you’ll get the point regardless)
How about you ? Do you ever ask for help from beyond our earthly realm ? Do you receive it only if it’s exactly what you asked for ? Could you be open to how our Divine Source (or insert whatever name floats your boat) presents Its version of help ?

ABOUT THE 2025 Mandalas of the Day
Throughout the year, I’ll be building one large (48”x48”) Tibetan-styled Mandala one piece at a time…one puzzle piece at a time, that is. The mandala design and the reversed puzzle side were printed on artist-quality watercolor paper. The forward facing puzzle side was printed on a 48”x48” wood panel.
Each day, at random, I’ll be painting in watercolors one of the 365 watercolor puzzle pieces, that by the end of the year will become Archangel Mandala #4. Read more about the Archangel Series. The word/message for each piece will be inspired by Melody Beattie’s book “52 Weeks of Conscious Contact”.
Ultimately, the message of this mandala is about how we are all uniquely part of the one.
