The astronauts aboard the International Space Station, which was east of Madagascar at the time, captured this amazing photo as lightening was striking in the eye of Cyclone Bansi on the evening of January 12, 2015.

While technically this is a spiral, the center of Cyclone Jasmine is most definitely a circle…and it rotates in a circular motion.
