International photographer, Eric Nathan, created this amazing and beautiful nightscape image using hundreds of long-exposure images of the night sky over Cape Town South Africa.
It fascinates me how it creates a vortex-like image in space. Because we move so slowly, we hardly notice the stars “moving” let alone “moving” in a circular pattern.
From his web site, Eric states this about himself and his stunning photography:
The product of a restless soul and an appetite for discovery, I am a self-taught, freelance photographer based for 6 months in Cape Town, South Africa and for 6 months in London, UK…I specialise in travel & landscape imagery and have been doing so for over 20 years.
His statement begs the question of us…what are we restless about that we may be holding ourselves back from doing?
