What a beautiful marriage of pink and green…given to us by our lovely Mother Nature. Cut in half horizontally, we see this perfectly round circle of guava fruit. Interestingly, it also offers us a mandala-like structure with the five-“petal” symmetrical center…reminds me of a wild rose…with an asymmetrical seed pattern.
About the guava fruit, the Jamaican Plan New Economy Transition site they state:
A soft fruit, when ripe, it resembles an avocado. The flesh varies in color and may be white, yellow, red or pink, the most commonly seen color. It is rich in flavor and falls under the category of “super fruits.” It may be eaten as is, or you may choose to make delicious juice from it.
To be honest, I have yet to eat a guava. Must add this to my “new things to experience in 2016“. What would you add to your list?
Happy Coloring!
