While Mother Nature creates the most beautiful snowflakes you could ever imagine…they are, however, only fleeting and challenging to capture and save. Then along comes SuperCoolio to save the day with his DIY super-cool easy 6 pointed snowflake project that allows us to make our own snowflakes to keep forever (or at least longer than one winter).
For me, I suggest taking this project a step further. Before starting, color the paper with a lot of different colors, patterns, and/or shapes. Then proceed as instructed…turning simple white snowflakes into super cool psychedelic flakery!
You could also recycle any kind of paper (newspapers, wrapping paper, etc) and turn it into an ‘upcycle’ snowflake project. By varying the size of the papers, you can vary the size of the snowflakes!
I have a pile of mandalas that I printed years ago that turned out awful and are just sitting in my garage…I’m going to use some of them for this fun snowflake project!
What will you use? Share your snowflakes!
Happy Coloring!
