This week’s MotD theme: Dotty for Dots
I present my coloring/painting of this week’s Mandala of the Week: Dotty for Dots (from Sunday’s MotD post). For this coloring I used four of my posts from this week’s theme for inspiration: the colors of the Helmeted Guineafowl, the stipplings of Kenji Alucky’s mandala tattoo, the nonpareils dots from Dani’s Easy Peasy Nonpareils Chocolates, and the use of white dots from Tanya Bird Mpetyane’s Awelyn aborigonal art.
Inspiration for Today
Today’s MotD shows us how we can each build upon what others are doing, giving it our own personal style, taking it to a different level. One idea sparks another and another and another. Without the spark, we lack any flame. So please, it behooves us to add our creative spark to the fire!
If you would want your mandala or your idea for a mandala to be considered for the “Mandala of the Day”, read about how on the Participate page. It’s easy! Or recommend one you’ve seen via my Contact page.
