This week’s MotD theme: Instructables in the Round
This adorable little round instructable comes from crafter Jamsuda of Qatar, and only requires a few simple items: an empty eggshell (which she shows you how to empty!), glue, scissors, color paper, beads, and a quilling tool (you could use tweezers or make a tool). I love the delicateness of this piece and all the circular (mandala) shapes of the pink paper rosettes.

From her instructables post she states:
There are many awesome uses for the shells, after you’ve already enjoyed the egg. The egg shell is a pretty great craft item, especially for those beautiful mosaics or decorative Easter Eggs. Today in this “ibel” I am going to share a new idea on how to use egg shells in a different way.

Inspiration for Today
Jamsuda’s flower bouquet inspires us to take the ordinary (egg) and make it extraordinary (unique flower decoration).
Happy Coloring!
If you would want your mandala or your idea for a mandala to be considered for the “Mandala of the Day”, read about how on the Participate page. It’s easy! Or recommend one you’ve seen via my Contact page.
