This week’s MotD theme: Hubba Hubba Hubcaps
Multi-media artist Nina Davidowitz, participated in and captured this photo of the “Second Time Around: The Hubcap as Art” show organized by the Landfill Art Organization and exhibited at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley (MSV) in 2014/15
About the show, MSV states:
An exhibition of environmentally inspired contemporary art, Second Time Around: The Hubcap as Art will present works by nearly 300 artists from every U.S. state and 35 other countries. The objects were created by artists from across the globe who responded to an invitation issued by the Pennsylvania-based, nonprofit Landfill Art Project to turn a discarded hubcap into art.

I love it when a group of people with one focus come together to create a collection of creative expressions that spark the imagination and creativity of those who witness said collection. That fact that they are all mandalas (circles) makes it even more exciting. I bet it was awesome to see in person.
You can view Nina’ art via her online gallery.
Inspiration for Today
Today’s mandala invites us to awaken our Creative Spirit, enhance, repurpose, redefine what we already have to elevate it to the next level of creativity.
Happy Coloring!
