This week’s MotD theme: For Whom the Bell Tolls
I present my coloring/painting of this week’s Mandala of the Week: For Whom the Bell Tolls (from Sunday’s MotD post). I felt inspired to create a stained glass window effect to this mandala design, connecting the flowers by way of the tips of their petals. Adding the white highlights to it makes it seem (to me anyway), that the “bells” are ringing.
I used watercolors and gel pens for this painting.
Inspiration for Today
It would seem that we are at the mercy of others affecting our being-ness, when in fact we are the ones who determine our state, our fate.
Be who we are and let it ring proudly throughout the land, inspiring others to do the same, creating a stained glass window effect of a co-existing humankind.
