This week’s MotD theme: Buckle Up
I present my coloring/painting of this week’s Mandala of the Week: Buckle Up (from Sunday’s MotD post). I painted this mandala inspired by the colors used in three of this week’s MotD images. Using the iridescent watercolors allowed me to give the overall structure a metallic look. The white gel pen lets me highlight and give a shine to 3-D-looking sections within the mandala.

Inspiration for Today
Today’s mandala comes to us as if a shield: to protect us as well as to help us lead the way. The turquoise pieces remind us to always speak from the heart while tapping into our pearls of wisdom knowing we are grounded and safe.
With this shield we can be aware of the fear while also allowing ourselves to move safely forward.
