This week’s theme: Kites

I present my coloring/painting of this week’s Mandala of the Week: Kites (from Sunday’s MotD post). I thought I might try to tone down the wildness of this week’s mandala design, but the mandala had other ideas. Lots of energy flying out of these six white kites. It’s almost hypnotic.

For this painting, I used M. Graham and Golden acrylics paint on Canson’s mixed media paper, enhanced it with a micron #1 black marker, gel pens, and a uni-ball signo white pen.
