Today’s coloring took an interesting turn.
My progress today:

1 – add metallic gold to half the wings
2 – add silver to the other half of wings
3 – I felt inspired to put eyes in these two wing sections
So I started out simple enough. Added some metallic gold and silver to the thinner strips in the wings. Then I kinda stalled out on what to do next.
Staring at the top set of wings, I kept seeing a pair of eyes. Since the “vision” persisted, I decided to follow its lead. They look like owl eyes. Of course, owls don’t have blue eyes…except right here 🙂
Now I’m curious as to what’s going to happen with the rest of the wings. More eyes?
