Added some more details to the 5″x7″ Observe Mandala using gel pens.
My progress today:

1 – add gold highlights
2 – add white highlights
3 – add green highlights
4 – add a stem and leaves
5 – add more details to the leaves
6 – add outline for other greenery to come
With the addition of some more gel pen details I began to see this rather ornate flower come into bloom and had to add a stem and some leaves. Next time I’ll finish the “grass blades” and give the whole piece a few coats of varnish.
