Today I started on the fifth sign of the Astrological Wheel: Leo – The Lion.
My coloring progress for today:

In 2012 I created a hyperbolic tessellation mandala for each of the zodiac signs. For Leo, its symbol is represented as a lion’s mane. I love how the repeated pattern of that symbol created two different heart-shaped patterns around the circle.
Leos are all about being bold and dramatic. I’d say this mandala is off to a dramatic start.
