I continued with the same color scheme from the center and applied it to more sections towards the top. I love how the heart shapes are becoming more prominent, which reminds me of the phrase “the heart of a lion.”
From Dr. Omprakash G Kulkarni on Quora.com about the meaning of that phrase:
It usually means the person is brave. the lion has always been a symbol of courage. The term ‘lion-heart’ is used for a person who possesses exceptional courage and fortitude. He is a very brave person. A lion-heart means a very fearless person. He can deal with any kind of danger or fear. It also means that his/ her mind is like a King – who care for others and not selfish, who does not harm others for no reason.

I post a variety of in-progress art for that day which can include mandalas from the Mandala of the Week, the Mandala of the Month, the Mandala of the Year, or the Mandala Meditation Stones.
Happy Coloring!
