Happy New Year!

Welcome to a new year of “mandalas of the day”. Throughout the year I plan to make use of previously created ”happenings” art for the backgrounds with either white or black liner pen drawings or enhancements to represent the MotD’s message for the day.

Today’s Message:
Be your Unique Self

With today’s MotD, we’re guided to honor and embrace our uniqueness. It’s encouraged for us to be inspired, motivated, and enlightened by others while also being inspiring, motivating, and enlightening for everyone else through our own Unique-ness.

Too often we tone it down or hide it for fear of judgement, ridicule, or rejection. Seeing how we’re usually “damned if we do and damned if we don’t” it seems clear that we might as well be true to ourselves because in the long run we best serve others and ourselves when we are.

BTW…This conveniently ties in nicely with the January Mandala of the Month for coloring: “Thine Own Self”.

My Mission: connecting with our Inner Light in delightful, inspiring ways For me, creating mandalas is more than just coloring pretty patterns in a circle. I do it because my spiritual evolution and creativity require it of me. My mandala designs come about within an active meditative state, connected with my higher self, my spiritual guides and nature spirits. Together, we bring into form, mandala art the allows me to re-connect with my own inner peace and joy, letting me explore and expand my own creative spirit to however far and in whatever direction I want to take it. As part of my own spiritual journey, I encourage, and hopefully inspire, others to explore their own creativity, to help them re-connect with their own inner peace and joy. As a means to that end, I make all of my mandalas available for people to color. Why should I have all the fun?
