22-054 Stained Glass

Today’s Mandala
Stained Glass

“People are like stained-glass windows.
They sparkle and shine when the sun
is out, but when the darkness sets in,
their true beauty is revealed
only if there is a light from within.”

— Elisabeth Kübler-Ross

“Each of us is carving a stone,
erecting a column,
or cutting a piece of stained glass
in the construction of something
much bigger than ourselves.

— Adrienne Clarkson

“For me a stained glass window is a
transparent partition between my heart
and the heart of the world.”

— Marc Chagall

Today’s MotD asks us to appreciate how each of us is like a different piece of stained glass. On their own the pieces may seem inconsequential or insignificant; however when they all come together into one window, the transformation is glorious.

“We’re better together than we are apart.”

― Trevor D. Richardson
