Today’s Mandala
Speak Truth
“Be humble:
— Ken Poirot
have the courage to speak the truth.”
“The way to right wrongs is
— Ida B. Wells-Barnett
to turn the light of truth upon them.”
“In a time of deceit telling the truth
— George Orwell
is a revolutionary act.”
Today’s MotD inspires us to speak our truth by being completely honest with ourselves; about our hopes, dreams, beliefs, and fears. It asks us to ponder: how can we speak truth when we fail to be honest with ourselves.
An excellent place to start would be to honestly explore through meditation, contemplation, journaling, etc what we know from our heart (green portion of mandala) to be our truth, without judgment. From this honest place we can speak our truth (blue portion of mandala).
Through this process of facing our fears and our false beliefs about ourselves, we will discover how much easier it is to speak our truth.
