“Doing is a quantum leap from imagining.”— Barbara Sher
“Own your joy so that you can be happier— Gabrielle Bernstein
and bring more energy to the world.
That ripple effect
works on a quantum level.
It brings about changes in the world.”
“Unfortunately, unless we’re focused on— Debbie Ford
building up our courage,
which gives us our self-confidence
and all that we need
to make quantum change in our lives,
the voice of fear will always take the lead
inside our minds.”
Today’s MotD is a bit of a paradox. It’s a latin word that basically translates to “amount”. It’s used to describe both the smallest amount possible or a large, bulk amount, depending on its context. With regards to our day-to-day lives, whatever changes we make in our lives, big or small, will change the course of our lives. If we’re stuck or in a rut, even the slightest change can make a huge difference.
The obvious big changes (change jobs, change where we live, change relationships) can seem exciting, daunting, or downright frightening. With small, subtle changes (going to bed 30 minutes earlier, waking up 30 minutes earlier, going for 10 minute walks throughout the day, stopping to do 2 minutes of deep breathing throughout the day, sitting quietly for a minute) can have just as great of an impact on our lives and are much easier to implement.
Both types of quantum changes can make all the difference in the world. It’s a matter of whether we want to take baby steps, huge leaps, or any amount in between.
