Today’s Mandala
Solace
“
— Helen Steiner RiceComfort comes from knowingthat people have made the same journey. And solace comes from understandinghow others have learned to sing again.”
“
— David WhyteTo look for solaceis to learn to ask fiercerandmore exquisitely pointed questions, questions that reshape our identitiesand our bodiesandour relation to others.”
“
— Nancy KuhajdaIt’s incredibly restorative.A lot of peoplefindgreat solace in gardening. It teaches self-worth, patience, reliance, persistence. It teaches us the circle of life.It teaches us that things die,and from that new things come.”
Today’s MotD reminds us to go easy on ourselves by seeking comfort in whatever form soothes our soul especially when the world around us (individually and globally) seems to be in upheaval.
