Today’s Mandala
Expansion
“Ever since I was a child
— Bruce Lee
I have had this instinctive urge
for expansion and growth.
To me, the function and duty
of a quality human being is
the sincere and honest development
of one’s potential.”
“Both the Winter
— Gary Zukav
and the Summer Solstices
are expressions of love.
They show us
the opposition of light and dark,
expansion and contraction,
that characterize our experiences
in the Earth school
so that we can recognize our options
as we move through our lives.”
“Love is the total absence of fear.
— Gerald Jampolsky
Love asks no questions.
Its natural state is one of
extension and expansion,
not comparison and measurement.”
Today’s MotD reminds us that everything about our existence on this earth as well as for our planet is about expansion. Staying stagnent defies the natural laws of why we are here. Our hearts and intuition pull us in the direction we are meant to go. Our ego and fear want us to play it safe and comfortable, which leads to atrophy, disappointment, and regret. We experience our joy when we follow our dreams.
“A ship in harbour is safe
— William G.T. Shedd
but thats not what ships are for.”
