Today’s Mandala
Come out, Come out,
Wherever You Are
“Your need for acceptance
— Jim Carrey
can make you invisible in this world.
Don’t let anything stand in the way
of the light that shines
through this form.
Risk being seen in all of your glory.”
“No man has the right to dictate
— Ansel Adams
what other men should
perceive, create or produce,
but all should be encouraged
to reveal themselves,
their perceptions and emotions,
and to build confidence
in the creative spirit.”
“One of the greatest regrets in life is
— Shannon L. Alder
being what others would want you to be,
rather than being yourself.”
Today’s MotD encourages us to come out from hiding and make our presence known in all our glory. Let go of it having to be perfect! Strive for excellence and improve as we go. Start somewhere and grow from there. Take one step and then take two.
What is it that we have been afraid to put out there? If taking a leap seems to big of a stretch, is there a way we can start with some small steps and then build upon it over time? People are more accepting than we realize especially when what we’re offering is coming from the heart, with sincerity and authenticity. Of course it’s scary. Be brave. Embrace our courageous heart. Trust in those who support us. Believe in who and what we are.
“Feel the fear and do it anyway.”
— book by Susan Jeffers, PhD
“It’s not brave unless you’re scared.”
— a line from the movie ”Bounce”
“People are waiting for the gifts
— Maiah
and talents we have to offer.”
Blessings,
Maureen
