Today’s Mandala
Delight
“Once we believe in ourselves,
— e. e. cummings
we can risk curiosity, wonder,
spontaneous delight, or any experience
that reveals the human spirit.”
“Love and magic
— Nora Roberts
have a great deal in common.
They enrich the soul,
delight the heart.
And they both take practice.”
“Only when your consciousness
— Barbara De Angelis
is totally focused
on the moment you are in
can you receive
whatever gift, lesson, or delight
that moment has to offer.”
Today’s MotD reminds us that our lives are meant to be a delight, regardless of all appearances to the contrary. When we take the time to notice even the smallest of delightful things around us (a smile from a passer-by, a bird flying overhead, a weed sprouting in the sidewalk, a child giggling, a wind chime chiming), it brings us to the present moment. And when we take the time to appreciate it in that moment, it raises our inner vibration, helping us to see, think, a feel from a brighter perspective.
We are being encouraged to use these delightful energies put before us to feed our hearts and souls, to uplift us even by the tiniest of degrees. It’s magic. And the more we notice and appreciate these little magical moments (elevating ourselves into this delightful state), the more magic we can create for ourselves and for others.
“Magic is believing in yourself,
— Johann Wolfgag von Goethe
if you can do that,
you can make anything happen.”
Blessings,
