Extrasensory
“What if we expanded
— Elle Molina
our limited ways
of looking at life and the world
to include intuition
as a fully acknowledged
sixth sense?”
“Extrasensory abilities
— Donna Goddard
are naturally developed within us
by being more receptive
to the subtler and finer
messages around us.
We all have extrasensory,
as well as sensory, faculties.”
“It is always with excitement
— Jonas Salk
that I wake up in the morning
wondering what my intuition
will toss up to me,
like gifts from the sea.
I work with it and rely on it.
It’s my partner.”
Today’s MotD reminds us to be aware of and tap into our extra-sensory faculties, our sixth sense our intuition. Chances are we are probably already making use of it without even realizing it; ie: a gut feeling about something, a sense of knowing about something for no logical reason, and a feeling that we need to do something or be somewhere that feels so out-of-the-blue.
Jack Canfield (“Chicken Soup for the Soul”) writes “Your subconscious mind is the source of your hidden genius and will always provide you with the knowledge you need to move forward in the right direction. This is true for all people, not just those who consider themselves to be psychic or highly intuitive.” Check out his blog post: 7 Tips to Strengthen Your Intuition
We are blessed to have access to a wealth of resources beyond our fives senses. We don’t have to go it alone. Therefore, we are encouraged to develop and make use of our extrasensory Inner Guidance System (intuition) whenever and wherever possible…which is basically…all the time.
“Intuition does not denote
— Carl Jung
something contrary to reason,
but something outside
of the province of reason.”
