Today’s Mandala
Flower
“A flower does not use words
— Matshona Dhliwayo
to announce its arrival to the world;
it just blooms.”
“One day you will look back and see
— Morgan Harper Nichols
that all along, you were blooming.”
“A lily or a rose never pretends,
— Jiddu Krishnamurti
and its beauty is that it is what it is.”
Today’s MotD inspires us to flower into the ones we are meant to be. While some of us may feel like we’re still in the bud stage, or maybe even a seed (or bulb), it matters little…know that we are all flowers in progress. Embrace the stage we are in and then grow from there.
Our challenge becomes releasing any limiting beliefs that hinder us from flowering to our full potential. One way we can do this is to believe in ourselves and our potential. We made it this far, we’ve already lived through many ups and downs, why stop now?
“I’ve got a baby sister,
— 4 yr old Princess Elizabeth (RIP) to
Margaret Rose,
and I’m going to call her Bud…
She’s not a real Rose yet, is she?
She’s only a bud.”
Lady Cynthia Asquith
on the birth of
Princess Margaret Rose in 1930.
