22-252 Deep

Today’s Mandala

“Believe in yourself,
take on your challenges,
dig deep within yourself
to conquer fears.
Never let anyone bring you down.
You got to keep going.”

— Chantal Sutherland

“In the stillness of your presence,
you can feel your own formless
and timeless reality
as the unmanifested life
that animates your physical form.
You can then feel
the same life deep within
every other human
and every other creature.
You look beyond
the veil of form and separation.
This is the realization of oneness.
This is love.”

— Eckhart Tolle

“All that I am
and all that I dream to be,
is found deep within me.”

— Dr. Nirvadha Singh

Today’s MotD encourages us to be willing to go deep within to understand who we truly are, to embrace who we truly are, and to share with the world who we truly are.

Our challenge becomes being patient, kind, and tolerant, knowing it takes time to build a healthy relationship with ourselves. And it is going to take some work…and we are worth it.

From life coach Connie Chapman, she offers “21 Loving Ways to Connect More Deeply With Yourself”. Here are just a few:

  1. Pay attention to your needs (and meet them)
  2. Use your Breath to draw you inwards
  3. Create Sacred morning time (to tune into what you want to create for yourself for the day)
  4. Support yourself with loving thoughts
  5. Tap into your heart energy
  6. Get in to Nature
  7. Revel in your own company
  8. Let your body’s wisdom guide you
  9. Create a Sacred Space
  10. Treat and pamper yourself

We go deep in order 1) to grow into our full potential, 2) to acknowledge (heal and transform) our wounded selves, and 3) to experience a whole new world of opportunities and expansion…which could just as easily translate into a full life of amazing adventures to being still in the comfort of our own skin. It’s our call. Go deep!
