Today’s MotD reminds us that we don’t have to go through life alone, we are allowed and encouraged to ask for guidance, either from other people or from the Universe (God, Allah, Source, Light, Guides, Angels, etc). We always have the free will to ignore it or act on it. Regardless it helps to have different perspectives and insights.
Our challenge becomes trusting our own inner guidance system to discern what guidance serves us best and is for the greater good. Gabby Bernstein wrote an article about how to ask for a sign and trust the guidance you receive . She says “You can ask for a sign to guide you toward anything you desire. If you’re unsure about a decision or you simply want to know you’re on the right track, ask for a sign. And don’t get hung up about what your sign should be. Just choose the first thing that comes to your mind.” She reminds us that the Universe (et al) has our backs.
Bottom line: it’s okay to ask for help. Those who can help us will; those who are not able to, will not…the key here is to not take it personally. Also know that guidance can come to us in a variety of ways; be open and aware to any possibility.
