“When one door closes,— Julie Andrews
another window opens.”
“If a window of opportunity appears,— Tom Peters
don’t pull down the shade.”
“A pessimist doesn’t see the sunset outside,— Jim Rohn
[they see] the dirt on the window.”
Today’s MotD encourages us to open some new windows and fly. Instead of waiting for things to be “perfect” before moving forward (which may never happen…and what’s perfect???), we are encouraged to see other “windows”.
Our challenge becomes realizing that there could be (and probably are) multiple opportunities to make our goal(s) a reality. When we limit our vision to thinking there’s only one way to make something, we fail to see any other ways and thus end up staring at the walls wondering why nothing is happening.
“Stop looking at the walls,— Karl Pilkington
look out the window.”
