Today’s Mandala
Alive
“When you arise in the morning,
— Marcus Aurelius
think of what a precious privilege it is
to be alive –
to breathe,
to think,
to enjoy,
to love.”
“Keep your dreams alive.
— Gail Devers
Understand to achieve anything
requires faith and belief in yourself,
vision, hard work, determination,
and dedication.
Remember all things are possible
for those who believe.”
“It is not the end
— Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
of the physical body
that should worry us.
Rather, our concern must be
to live while we’re alive –
to release our inner selves
from the spiritual death
that comes with living behind
a facade designed to conform
to external definitions
of who and what we are.”
Today’s MotD reminds us that multiple experiences, built upon each other make up our total life span; some good, some great, some we may want to forget, and yet they are all part of being alive in human form, at this time, and on this planet.
Our challenge, and a powerful one as we head into the new year, becomes recognizing what in our life makes us come alive. What makes our hearts sing? What brings us joy to do or be? That, my dear friends, is our purpose. Bring more of that into our lives. Doing so raises our vibration, and as others follow our lead, it raises their vibrations as well. “When you are vibrating at a higher level, you feel lighter, happier, and more at ease.” — Chopra.com
To learn more about raising our vibration, check out “How to Raise Your Emotional & Spiritual Vibration” by Karson McGinley on Chopra.com. In it she states: “It can be tempting to succumb to a feeling of helplessness with regard to the future of the planet and all its inhabitants. But channeling your efforts into raising your energetic frequency is one of the best gifts you can give the world. When you lift yourself up, you bring others with you. This is the only way you can contribute to raising the collective consciousness of the world.”
“If you’re alive,
— Rick Warren
there’s a purpose for your life.”
