23-029 Believe #1

This week we look at Principle #5 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Believe in Yourself”. While coloring today I set the intention to just focus on the title of this principle. Regarding that, he states: “If you assume in favor of yourself and act as if it is possible, then you will do the things that are necessary to bring about the result. If you believe it is impossible, you will not do what is necessary, and you will not produce the result. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

When I truly ponder the question of whether I believe in myself or not, I realize that there are many things that I do that I know I can do, I have the confidence to do them. Right now, though, I wanting to up my game, expand beyond where I am and that (initially) scares me…mostly self-doubt sets in.

Yet, intellectually I know I’ve handled growth and expansion in my past…what makes this different? Bigger stakes? Actually, realistically I can see where everything I’ve done up until now has been another stepping stone, another rung on the ladder, another level of the playing field. I’ve done it before, I can do it again.

As the week progresses, I want to get a closer look at this self-doubt part of me that has my attention to find out what she has to say and how I can help her feel better.

So how about you? Are there areas in your life where you are confident? Areas where you have self-doubt? How have you overcome self-doubt in the past?

or you think you can’t
— you’re right,”
