Continuing with Principle #7 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Unleash the Power of Goal-Setting”, I set my intention to ponder the idea of creating goals that stretch me, push me out of my comfort zone. I have to admit, coloring/painting this version made me cringe at times, thinking it’s going to look like crap. The voice in my head said to keep going. Just grab and paint…grab and paint. Towards the end, it was more play and a lot less thinking.
I’m sensing that the approach I took for this mandala would be a good approach for setting goals. I keep hearing the phrase: let ‘er rip! Be playful with my goals, allow myself to play with outrageous goals…at the very least during the brain-storming phase.
So how about you? Do you allow yourself to set goals that stretch you? …that push you beyond your comfort zone?
