Continuing with Principle #8 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Clunk it Down”, I set my intention to ponder the idea of how individual action steps can be like a road map, leading the way, in one direction or another. It also reminds us that we can change directions…there’s more than one way to get “there”. In this principle, Canfield shares several ways to come up with our action steps:
- Ask someone else how they did it? Research how others did/do it.
- Mind mapping: basically an organized, visual brain dump of everything related to the goal.
- Creating to-do lists…or as someone I heard today call them: Accomplishment Lists (I like the sound of that)
However we come up with our action steps, the important thing is to have them; they help us stay on track to achieving our goal(s)…step by step.
So how about you? Do you have an action plan for your goal(s)? Do you have a road map of how to achieve your goal(s)? Do you have the courage to press on?
“All you need is the plan,
— Earl Nightingale
the road map,
and the courage to press on
to your destination.”
