Today’s Mandala Message: Emotions put the energy of what we want into motion.
I’m continuing with Principle #11 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” (TSP) entitled “See What You Want, Get What You See. Today I set my intention to ponder the idea of adding emotions to visualizations. Essentially this means to add the emotions of what it would feel like to achieve our goal. How would we feel about ourselves? How would we feel about what we created? We can bring those feelings to the present moment of our visualization practice. What other positive emotions come to mind? Bringing our emotions into it, energizes and empowers that visualization.
For instance asking those questions while doing a visualization on one of my goals I felt: proud of myself, I was happy I did it, and I felt excited and motivated to move onto the next goal. These are feelings I can feel now, regardless of how the goal turns out so why not bring them forth now and empower the goal before I even begin and then continue to do so throughout the process.
On how to connect emotions with our goals, Kara Cutruzzula of TheShineApp offers these three question to ponder:
- How do I feel about my goal right now, before I kick things off?
- How do I feel about doing the work to accomplish it?
- How will I feel once I accomplish this goal?
So how about you? How would you answer these questions as it relates to your goals?

may be confused,
but your emotions
will never lie to you.”
