23-110 Getting Better All The Time #5

Today’s Mandala Message: Everything’s Gonna Be Alright

This week I’m working through Principles #19 and #20 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Use Feedback to Your Advantage” and “Commit to Constant and Never-Ending Improvement”, respectively. I set my intention today to ponder the idea of “getting better all the time”. While coloring this today, I had an “ear worm”…I repeatedly heard Bob Marley’s rendition of “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” song playing in my head.

I see that tying into this week’s principles in that regardless of the feedback we receive (positive or negative), everything’s gonna be alright…take what works and leave the rest. And whatever area(s) of our life that needs improving, there too, everything’s gonna be alright…keep chipping away at it with the intent of getting better all the time. Essentially, today’s message reminds us to chill, relax…while moving forward.

Canfield states: “Make a commitment to keep getting better and better every day in every way. If you do, you’ll enjoy the feelings of increased self-esteem and self-confidence that come from self-improvement, as well as the ultimate success that will inevitably follow.

So how about you? Does the thought of moving forward make you feel anxious? If so, what would help you to relax about it? Can you adopt the mantra “everything’s gonna be alright” as you move forward?

Everything’s gonna be alright
Everything’s gonna be alright
And nobody’s gotta worry ’bout nothing
Don’t go hittin’ that panic button
It ain’t worth spilling your drink
Everything’s gonna be alright
Alright, alright
