23-112 Getting Better All The Time #7

Today’s Mandala Message: Refocus On Your Vision

This week I’m working through Principles #19 and #20 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Use Feedback to Your Advantage” and “Commit to Constant and Never-Ending Improvement”, respectively. I set my intention today to ponder the idea of refocusing on my vision…get back on track. Canfield states: “Incorporate the lessons learned, recommit to your original plan, or create a new plan of action, and then get on with it. Stay in the game. Keep moving toward the fulfillment of your dreams. You’re going to make a lot of mistakes along the way. Dust yourself off, get back on your horse, and keep riding.”

Getting any form of feedback (positive or negative) can through you off your game if you let it. I know for me it can sometimes make me question whether I should even continue with what I’m doing. That’s when I have to get quiet, grounded, and centered so that I can connect with said vision (goal, dream, project) to see how it feels to me. Do I need to give up? Do I need to change it up? Do I need to start over? Do I proceed anyway? These are just a few of the questions I put to myself and the vision (goal, dream, project). I know that with whatever I do, there is going to be a lot of “noise” …it behooves me to use whatever feedback that supports the vision, commit to improvements, and then re-focus on my vision, on what I’m wanting to create.

So how about you? Do you let feedback knock you off course? Do you let it stop you or make you give up? Or do you regroup, refocus, and move on?

“Always remember,
your focus determines
your reality.”
