Today’s Mandala Message: Aim For World Class
This week I’m working through Principles #23 and #24 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Practice the Rule of Five” and “Exceed Expectations”, respectively. I set my intention today to ponder the idea of aiming for world class in my creations and offerings.
I was raised in an environment where we always had to go above and beyond. In my early adult years, I lost some of that through rebellion. However once it’s in you (me), it’s difficult to shake. My challenge has mostly been trying too hard to go beyond. I have since learned to balance overdoing things with moderation.
For instance in the coloring today’s mandala, a couple of times I wanted to stop…it was good enough. But I could feel that more needed to be added, to bring it up a notch or two. There was certainly more I could have added (my over-achieving self always wants/needs to do more); but the way it was when I stopped felt just right to me.
If you happen to be on Instagram @themandalalady … go to this post…I include a couple of time-lapsed videos showing my progress while coloring this mandala.
So how about you? Do aim to do good enough…which is definitely a viable option, or do you do what feels just right? Would you consider bringing what you do up to a higher level of offering? What would it take?

it comes down to
preparation and practice.”
