24-119 Jubilation

Jubilation

“a feeling of great happiness; triumphant because of a success”

Today’s MotD offers another opportunity to be reminded about allowing ourselves to feel great happiness for our wins, our successes…regardless of their size.

I feel like we’re also being encouraged to feel just as triumphant for the success of others. Ever watch an important sporting event where the home team wins the game? It’s not just the players who played that game that are jubilant…everyone who there who was rooting for that team, are just as jubilant. The down side of course is that the other team and their supporters feel exactly the opposite.

So maybe that wasn’t the best overall example. The point is being supportive of those who have a great success: a new job, earned a college degree, learned how to ride a bike, survived a major illness, gave birth, solved a problem, landed on the moon, and so on.

This is about embracing that energy, sharing it, and expanding it. After all, if one of us succeeds, we all succeed…because they’re demonstrating how it’s done for the rest of us.

How about you? Is jubilation a core value for you?

BTW…here’s what it looked like to begin with and a slanted view to see the gold…

joyfully,

About the 2024 Mandalas of the Day

Each day I will create and post a mandala inspired by one of 366 “value” words chosen randomly. The objective being to discover for myself which ones would best represent my core values…and by doing so, I hope it inspires you to determine your own.
