Oregon jewelry artisan and friend, Jan O’Banion made this gorgeous ReArt Tin and Mixed Metal Hummingbird Breastplate. I love her attention to details and her creative imagination of putting all these pieces together to form this one-of-a-kind work of art…with all kinds of mandala-like shapes.

283 – Macrame Mandala
Macrame and beading artist, Cece Cormier (The Beading Yogini), created this delightful macrame mandala barrette secured entirely by knots. I love her color combinations…reminds me of neapolitan ice cream: vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.
252 – Queen Elizabeth Mandala
Yesterday, Queen Elizabeth became the UK’s longest reigning monarch in its history…63 years and seven months. One of the many things she’s known for is her hats…she always wears them and most of them are round…mandalas; and she wears them well.
251 – Soutache Mandala
Beader extraordinaire, Christina Neit, aka Good Quill Hunting, created this exquisite piece of soutache pendant and necklace. I love all the intricate beed work around the stones and off the gold braid. What a fun piece this would be to wear.
149 – Crimson Star Mandala
While this stunner of a gemstone may look like a ruby, it’s actually a 121 carat Rubellite Tourmaline…the largest known Rubellite in the world today. And it’s for sale. How much? If you have to ask, you can’t afford it. 🙂
60 – Vintage Brooches Mandalas
How cool are these! What a fun collection of vintage brooches we have here…owned and photographed by Jenn Ski, posted on her flickr site
