On her June 8, 2015 Instagram page, Amalia Bussard, the_wholesome_bowl, put together this symmetrical bowl of colorful goodness using cacao banana nice cream topped with strawberries, blackberries, pumpkin seeds, coconut, almonds, and goji berries.

I first learned of collage/painter Fred Tomaselli while at our local library. Spotting a mandala image on the cover of a large art book entitled “Fred Tomaselli” caught my eye. I checked it out and checked it out. His art is vibrant and powerful…and so different from anything I had seen before. He uses a variety of traditional art media along with conventional materials…like photos, vegetation and even pills.

Now this is that way to see the sun at night. Dave Chihuly and his team created this masterpiece with over 1,500 pieces of blown glass in yellow, orange, red and blue. So much could be said here about Chihuly and is magnificent art however I invite you to just enjoy the visual experience of his sun instead.

For only his second Mandala painting, Buck Owens created a beauty, with mandalas within mandalas. Viewing this 32″x32″ acrylic painting entitled “Ocean Convergence”, I feel like we’re going deep within the ocean. I can hear the sound the bubbles make as we float down pass them.
