Night Queen Dahlia - Photo by BigCityAl

153 – Night Queen Mandala

Al Mullen (BigCityAl) photographed this beautiful dahlia which goes by the name “Night Queen.” I love the deep rich color of this flower, with its rounded petals complemented nicely with the green foliage behind it.

"Raven Bringing in the Light" by Elspeth McLean

151 – Raven Mandala

I love Elspeth McLean’s paintings. They pulsate with vibrant color. Of all her paintings, I chose this one for today because of the way she included an outside element (the raven) into her collection of mandalas.

Crimson Star of Siberia

While this stunner of a gemstone may look like a ruby, it’s actually a 121 carat Rubellite Tourmaline…the largest known Rubellite in the world today. And it’s for sale. How much? If you have to ask, you can’t afford it. 🙂

Collective Vision Mandala by Alex Grey

147 – Collective Vision Mandala

World-renowned visionary artist, Alex Grey, created this powerfully mesmerizing mandala painting. For me, his art touches beyond the physical into the metaphysical, the soul and the spiritual.
