Texas basket weaver, Donya Stockton, created this award-winning inter-weaving basket which, per her flickr site, received Best of Sculpture at the Southwest School of Art Annual Faculty and Student Exhibition 2011 and [was] accepted to Latitude, Convergence 2012 in Long Beach, California.

Today we showcase the most massive planet in our solar system: Jupiter. Included in today’s MotD is the shadow cast by one of Jupiter’s moons: Europa, which in its own right is a fascinating and beautiful space mandala.

Portland, Oregon builder of gardens, Jeffrey Bale, created this amazing 11-circuit stone labyrinth on Bainbridge Island in Washington State. Based on his blog site, he started this project around September 2013 and completed it around May 2014.
