Australian photographer, Denis Smith, created this fascinatingly beautiful “mandala”…WITHOUT using photoshop! On his Ball of Light Flickr page, he uploaded a whole variety of balls of light that are just spectacular and mesmerizing.
In his words, they are created:
in a single exposure by swinging lights around. There is no “Photoshop” here at all. It is super challenging, and certainly adds a new dimension to long exposure photography.
Of all of them, I chose this one because of it’s simple beauty, it’s warm glow, and its vibrant rippling reflection upon the water.
You can learn more about Denis and his BOL projects on his web site.
I suspect I’ll be showcasing more of these in the future…they are just stunning!
