This week’s MotD theme: Mandala Artists
Amanda Le, Raw Manda, in her own words proclaims herself to be a “self-taught raw foodist thriving on an abundant life full of vibrant fruits and veggies!” I’ve been following her on Instagram for quite a while now. I love her passion for raw food and how she expresses her creations (recipes) in vibrant, colorful mandalas. She uses Mother Nature as her paint medium and her canvas.
From her June 29 Instagram post about her Watermelon Pizza she states:
I’ve been trying to figure out what to make for the Fourth of July this weekend and this is it! Fun, fast and easy. P.S. This was the first time I’ve ever tasted fresh goji berries! I’ve only ever had dried ones, which I actually prefer but it was so cool to try something new!
Check out her beautiful Food Mandalas, which you can make too, via her recipe page. She also just published her new ebook, Sweet Abundance, which includes raw vegan dessert recipes that are easy for anyone to make. All recipes are free of dairy, gluten & refined sugar with plenty of nut-free recipes.
Inspiration for Today
Amanda’s watermelon pizza inspires our creative juices. As we go about our day, find something that we do on a regular basis, habitually. Now ponder for a moment how we can do it differently.
For instance while brushing our teeth, maybe instead of just standing or sitting there we can sway side-to-side…or we could hum a tune…do something different…each time.
It may seem silly (and it is) and yet at the same it helps us to tap into and expand our Creative Spirit which can in turn help us to be more creative in every area of our lives! So let’s start swaying!
If you would want your mandala or your idea for a mandala to be considered for the “Mandala of the Day”, read about how on the Participate page. It’s easy! Or recommend one you’ve seen via my Contact page.
