This week’s MotD theme: A Rose is a Rose
Seattle embroidery artist Kimberly Oiumet presents us with this stunning image of an Ingrid Bergman Hybrid Tea rose from her garden. I found it on her blog post entitled Garden Pictures and Wip. I love the deep rich red color of this rose along with its seemingly perfect distribution and shape of petals.
Roses For Love offers this interpretation of deep red roses:
Many couples find it hard to express their readiness for a long-term commitment. For them, dark red roses say it all. The deep color symbolizes intense feelings and helps them overcome barriers that they face while communicating. The dark red roses give them the joy of saying something they are yearning to say but just don’t find the right words for.
