Yay! I finished coloring “The Astrological Sign of Aries” mandala today!
My progress for today:

It took longer than I planned to take on this and yet it’s okay. I’m pleased with how it turned out. I looks like a tightly packed bouquet of vibrant flowers, as if someone were holding all the stems securely together right behind the mandala.
With Aries being a fire sign, I like how its symbol looks like it’s in varying stages of fire colors; from hot-hot to cool-hot. Adding the highlights was a last minute idea, it gives it energy and movement, like Aries. If you happen to know any Aries, they rarely sit still and always have another project on the fire.
This mandala inspires us to light a fire under whatever we want to create for ourselves. Stop waiting for things to be perfect…it rarely, if ever, happens. Start, stoke the fires, and make adjustments, as needed, along the way.
