My progress for today:
[Select an image for a larger view]
1 – add yellow to Aries symbols
2 – add yellow/orange to Aries symbols
3 – add orange/magenta to Aries symbols
4 – add violet to Aries symbols
5 – add dark purple to Aries symbols
6 – progress thus far
7 – continue coloring more Aries symbols
8 – full view of today’s progress
Oh! So close yet so far. Today I decided to show my step-by-step (images #1-5) for coloring the Aries symbols using two different yellows, orange, magenta, and two different purples. With Image #8 you can really see the depth of this mandala coming to life. It’s as if the design is resting an a ball (that’s the hyperbolic part 🙂 )
With the next day’s coloring, I should be able to finish it. I’m eager to see how this will look once the center section is done. It already looks pretty cool…IMHO.

Read about the “Sign of Aries” as this week’s Mandala of the Week.
About the Mandalas of the Day:
I post a variety of in-progress art for that day which can include mandalas from the Mandala of the Week, the Mandala of the Month, the Mandala of the Year, or the Mandala Meditation Stones.
Happy Coloring!

My Mission: connecting with our Inner Light in delightful, inspiring ways
For me, creating mandalas is more than just coloring pretty patterns in a circle. I do it because my spiritual evolution and creativity require it of me. My mandala designs come about within an active meditative state, connected with my higher self, my spiritual guides and nature spirits.
Together, we bring into form, mandala art the allows me to re-connect with my own inner peace and joy, letting me explore and expand my own creative spirit to however far and in whatever direction I want to take it.
As part of my own spiritual journey, I encourage, and hopefully inspire, others to explore their own creativity, to help them re-connect with their own inner peace and joy. As a means to that end, I make all of my mandalas available for people to color. Why should I have all the fun?
