Today’s MotD reminds us of two things related to the theme: ”Behind the Scenes”.
- When it seems like things have stalled out, know that ”things are happening behind the scenes” to help put things in place so that we can move forward. To help make that happen, make sure we have a
- good solid intention (see The Power of Intentions),
- clarity about our ”why” (see What’s Your Why),
- and consider taking baby steps to get there (see Baby Steps)
- Most of us do what we do behind the scenes, away from the public eye … unless of course we are active social media people. 😁 And even there, though, when people create their posts, most of their time is spent with the planning, set-up, and editing; so there’s a lot going on behind the scenes there too. As the Steven Furtick above quote implies, comparing our behind-the-scenes to someone else highlight reel is futile. We lack the knowledge of how much went into making that reel happen. Just as others may think we are idling, they fail to see how much effort we are putting in behind the scenes. So let’s cut ourselves some slack, stay in our lane, and, in the inspiring lyrics of the immortal Curtis Mayfield, ”keep on keeping on.”
