22-243 Guardian

Today’s Mandala
Guardian

“We should treat our minds,
that is, ourselves,
as innocent and ingenuous children,
whose guardians we are,
and be careful what objects
and what subjects
we thrust on their attention.”

— Henry David Thoreau

“I call animals
“guardians of Being,”
especially animals
that live with humans.
Because, for many humans,
it’s through their contact
with animals
they get in touch with
that level of being.”

— Eckhart Tolle

“Follow your dreams,
transform your life,
take the path that leads to God.
Perform your miracles.
Cure. Make prophecies.
Listen to your guardian angel.
Transform yourself.
Be a warrior,
and be happy
as you wage
the good fight.
Take risks.”

— Paulo Coelho

Today’s MotD reminds us that just as we are the guardians of our individual lives we also have Light Beings (angels, guides, etc) that are guardians for us. We can consider them as a Team, with core members that are always there and other members who come and go depending on what projects, tasks, or things we are doing. For instance in creating the daily Mandalas of the Day I ask to connect with my team to help me co-create the MotDs with them.

We are encouraged to ask for our Team’s help and guidance; they are there to help us. Without their guidance we can feel like we’re flying blind or on autopilot, dealing with things as they randomly show up. However, if we can think of them as delightful servers in a fancy restaurant who are there to take on our “order” (questions, requests), we’ll experience synchronicities and clues that answer our questions and help guide us along our way…one way or another. And until we tell them what we want, they just patiently wait in the wings.

Blessings,

Maureen
